Saturday May 31st from 1 - 5 p.m.

sampler evening
starting with therapeutic yoga (no
yoga experience necessary) with Alison McGinn, a
Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy
Instructor.
Next, join me for a cup of herbal
tea and discuss the ways herbs
support health and increase
vitality. Discover fun & simple ways to
incorporate herbal practices with daily
living.
Linda Potter of Nautilus
Retreats will lead you through journaling
exercises to discern what healthy self-care
means to you.
Finally, Gina Nicoletta-Budler will
share the relaxation techniques she
employs in her work as a Birth Doula to help you
ease back into your life.

Herbal Baby & You
Mother Nature’s
gardens provide us with a multitude of gentle herbs
that nourish and support us through pregnancy and
childbirth. Learn about these special plant
allies and how they also help us to care for our
little ones. We will discuss specific herbs and the
products we can make with them.
Tea Time
Explore the
fascinating history of tea and tisanes. Discuss a
variety of nourishing, delectable herbs that can be
easily grown in the garden. Learn to blend these
herbs to create signature teas. We will discuss the
elements that contribute to a perfect pot of tea—how
to select the proper instruments, prepare infusions,
and use interesting herbal sweeteners.
Field Trips
Student and community groups of all ages are most
welcome at the farm—there’s something of interest
for everyone! Experience first hand the wonders of
working with herbs; enjoy a tour of the gardens;
visit with the animals.
