ABOUT US
In
May 2005, our family’s dream of starting Mind’s Eye
Farm & Herbary became a wonderful reality. We have
been potting and planting medicinal and culinary
herbs of all kinds ever since. The wild medicinal
plants that thrive throughout our farm bring great
joy, and we marvel at their resilience and spirit.

We are located in
St. Lawrence
County in
upstate NY not far from the Adirondacks. No
chemicals are ever used in the growing of our herbs
and we use sustainable agricultural methods.
Wildcrafted plants are harvested with respect and
with gratitude. Believing that mental and physical
health is achieved in part through meaningful
interactions with animals and nature, at Mind’s Eye
we farm with the help of Belle and Babe, our Belgian
draft horses.
Rebecca
is an avid gardener and community herbalist, who has
studied with Rosemary Gladstar and Dr. John
Christopher. She is a member of the New England
Herbalist Association (NEHA) and United Plant Savers
(UpS). As an herbal practitioner, Rebecca delights
in sharing the power of plants with her students,
clients, and visitors to the farm.
When he is not working on projects in the children’s
garden or building garden sheds and compost piles,
Dave is most likely in the fields with the horses
preparing the soil for planting.

At Mind’s
Eye, visitors are given an opportunity to talk to an
animal, find a green cure for an ailment, or dig in
the dirt—because life is too short to do otherwise!
